What's the deal with your logo? [The 45rpm Spindle Insert with horns.]
Back in the day, when vinyl wasn't retro cool but state-of- the-art, 45rpm records required an adapter that allowed them to be played on turntables. The shape of these always appealed to me.
While producing my album Noise of Thy Viols last year—which was a protest album against the abuses of Big Religion—I wanted to convey the idea that, like the 45 adapter, the concept of a 'Devil' was obsolete. This meaning is a bit esoteric but it certainly has launched a lot of great conversations which was the point. Points? |
